"Woodshedding" is a musician's term meaning "going off to practice." It's typically used by jazz musicians to suggest a devotion to getting it right. Everybody at Smitty's spends significant time in "the shed", which is why they thought it would be the perfect name for their new weekly Thursday night concerts.
Each week they invite guests and friends from across the musical landscape into "The Shed". With Smitty's creative direction, they'll work on new material and collaborate with new artists to perform a specially curated and arranged set.
This time, Bouché are back in the shed. It got pretty mystical last time. Leading up to the release of their first full length record Smitty's have invited them back to showcase their folk-noir soundscapes.
