Hailed by The New York Times as "funny" and "poignant" and by the Daily News as "intelligent" and "courageous", The Vagina Monologues dives into the mystery, humour, pain, power, wisdom, outrage and excitement buried in women’s experiences. The play is based on V-Day Founder and playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. For two decades, The Vagina Monologues has given voice to experiences and feelings not previously exposed in public. Latecomers may not be admitted. Concession ticket holders must show proof at the door. All profits from this event will be donated to charity.
"'...Aren’t we a bit past that whole vagina talking thing?' Well, this production organised and directed by Tessa Hart proved that we well and truly are not."
