The Very Hungry Caterpillar

The much-loved children's book is wriggling its way into the West End

Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar has delighted generations of readers since it was first published in 1969. Captivating readers with its iconic colourful collage illustrations and simple – yet completely unforgettable – story, its sold more than 41 million copies worldwide, and now its making its way off the page and onto the stage. Created by Jonathan Rockefeller, the critically-acclaimed production of The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show features a menagerie of 75 lovable puppets, faithfully adapting four of Eric Carle stories, The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, Mister Seahorse, The Very Lonely Firefly and of course, the star of the show – The Very Hungry Caterpillar. The Ambassadors Theatre opened in 1913 with a production of Panthea, a play by Monckton Hoffe which ran for only 15 nights. Over 100 years later the venue has established itself as one of the premier go-to destinations for theatre lovers in the capital. Runtime: 1 hour. All ticket prices for the Very Hungry Caterpillar are inclusive of any booking fees: YPlan will not charge you any additional amounts for your tickets. When booking tickets, you can pick your seat from the seatmap once you've selected a date. For your comfort and security, you may be subject to additional checks on your visit to London theatres. Your patience and understanding is appreciated while these take place. Valid ID required for ticket collection.
