Summer cinema pop-up with Everyman, Battersea Power Station and Heineken
The awesome Everyman Cinema is running a pop-up programme of summer screenings, taking place in the open air under the iconic Power Station towers. It'll be one of the last times the public will have access to Battersea before redevelopment begins. With refreshments available from Street Feast and Heineken, you'll be kept topped up while catching this classic mockumentary that charts the rise of a spoof heavy metal band on nine-metre screens (show offs). Plus, headphones mean you'll catch every sweet guitar solo. Comfy beanbags for all. The screening will go ahead whatever the weather, so bring a waterproof jacket or a blanket. There are ponchos available to buy on site.
"Hilarious, bitingly perceptive and cinematically assured."
