Get familiar with the big daddy of baroque, Johann Sebastian Bach and his sons. Instead of sifting through hundreds of compositions, get straight to the point with a handpicked selection of greatest hits, performed by the UK’s leading chamber orchestra. It’s kind of like a crash course into his immense style and influence but performed live by talented local stars. Wowza.

July 26, 2022 - Time Out Presents: ‘Romantic Cello’ by Candlelight:

Your date night just got a major upgrade. Impress a special someone by making yourself look like a bona fide culture vulture, with amazing music from acclaimed British cellist Chris Grist. He’ll be channelling romantic vibes with pianist Tyler Hay with a set spanning Samuel Barber’s ‘Cello Sonata’ to Saint-Saens’ ‘The Swan’ in all the very enchanting setting of St Martin-in-the-Fields.

July 29, 2022 - Time Out Presents: ‘A Night At The Opera’ by Candlelight:

This is your chance to dip your toe into the world of opera. Marie Antoinette? Frasier Crane? Meryl Streep? All opera fans. And you can be just like them. Catch Works from ‘La Boheme’, ‘Carmen’, ‘Marriage of Figaro’ ‘and more by candlelight with some of the top singers in the UK. You’ll leave with a head full of arias and overtures from the best operas ever written.
