Versatile music from the depths of the undergroundThe Thames Tunnel was described as the eighth wonder of the world when it opened in 1843. Spinning forward a fair few years, this is a unique chance to bop the night away underneath the river. We’ve never heard music described as "tangy" before, but that’s how Trio Pakaw describe themselves. Perhaps it’s something to do with their sultry vocals and mixing up the traditional with a touch of the modern. This all-female band shows flashes of their Greek roots as they touch on world music and beyond.
