Udderbelly 2016: Margaret Thatcher Queen Of Soho
The Iron Lady lets loose
Udderbelly is back, and this year it's bigger than ever. With a mammoth 15-week run, get ready for an extravaganza of music, comedy and all manner of entertainment, all inside the festival's iconic, upside-down purple cow on the South Bank. Margaret Thatcher Queen Of Soho makes her debut at Udderbelly (after two total sell-out runs at the Edinburgh Fringe and London's Leicester Square Theatre) in a drag comedy musical extravaganza like no other. On the eve of the vote on Section 28, Maggie gets lost in Soho and accidentally becomes a cabaret superstar, but will she change her mind about the homophobic bill before it's too late? Join her for a camp odyssey about gay rights, the '80s and disco. Suitable for over 16s. Valid ID required for ticket collection. Ticket sales are final and bookings cannot be amended, exchanged or refunded (unless of course the performance is cancelled). All listed offers are subject to availability and can be withdrawn at any time.
"Glorious camp with political punch."
