A working-class love story set in the '20s
When two men, nice Bill and brash Bert meet and happen to be into the same girl on the same day at the same Underground station, everything goes awry. The lady chooses Bill, but Bert doesn’t take too well to rejection. What ever will happen in this black and white spectacular?
To perfectly compliment the restored version of the film, composer and silent film pianist Neil Brand was commissioned by the Barbican and the BBC Symphony Orchestra to write a score. It’s a gorgeous addition to this London tale.
