There’s more to this festival than most. Of course there’s an incredible music line-up with Pussy Riot, The Feeling, Lowkey, Don Letts, Suggs from Madness, The Priscillas and Matt Bianco all on the bill but there’s a lot more here, too. There’s top notch comedy from the likes of Hardeep Singh Kohli. There are documentaries and films. There are more than 100 workshops and three talk tents tackling big contemporary issues. You can even train to be an Extinction Rebellion activist, if that sounds like your kinda vibe. The tagline the festival is using is ‘discuss, dance, laugh and change the world’. Which sounds just about right.
