The show is set n ’80s Australia, and young dancer Scott Hastings (Jonny Labey) has his sights set on winning a ballroom dancing championship – but he’s constantly pulled up on his unorthodox style, which isn’t ‘strictly ballroom’. He finds an unlikely partner in the form of the dowdy but fleet-footed Fran (Zizi Strallen), and as the chemistry starts to crackle between them, together they battle to triumph in the limelight. It’s an ultra-camp, ultra-fun musical, which is brought to life with razor-sharp choreography from Drew McOnie and classic hits like ‘Time After Time’, ‘Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps’, and ‘Love Is In The Air’.
