Vault Festival 2016: Baby
They say you are what you eat
London's biggest arts festival is returning: make your way underground for six weeks of creativity, innovation and chaos at Vault Festival. With more than 100 different shows spread across eight incredible venues, you're not going to find anything else like it above or below ground any time soon. Baby is a 1985 American adventure fantasy film; what your lover calls you; your mother calls you. An inconoclastic, terrifying performance on the problem of human agency. This is a text-based, post-dramatic, political satire that is mostly as described; an audience with a polar bear; a victim of climate change, forced migration and globalisation. You are what you eat and the polar bear ate it’s young, your young and the last of the ice. This work will be enjoyed by you if you like: Throwing Bricks Through Windows, Enjoying, and Capitalisation. Show takes place in the Pit space. Running time is approx 75 mins.
"Fresh, demanding; brilliantly subversive…Slams itself against the very limits of convention."
