Vault Festival 2016: Cornermen

The hit Edinburgh show about the other side of boxing

"A vibrant, varied programme…a brilliant place to spot new talent.”

- The Stage
London's biggest arts festival is returning: make your way underground for six weeks of creativity, innovation and chaos at Vault Festival. With more than 100 different shows spread across eight incredible venues, you're not going to find anything else like it above or below ground any time soon. Mickey and his team of cornermen never have much luck in the boxing world. Until, that is, they sign a young fighter whose winning ways catapult them to success. However, you can't win all the time and soon Mickey has to choose between the life he's enjoying, and the well-being of his young charge. Tragic and funny in equal measure, Cornermen is Smoke And Oakum’s third show, was penned by award-nominated writer Oliver Forsyth, and comes hot from the Edinburgh Festival. Catch it now. Show takes place in the Pit space. Running time is approx 75 minutes.
