Vault Festival 2016: Fable
A show about where we are and where we’d like to be
London's biggest arts festival is returning: make your way underground for six weeks of creativity, innovation and chaos at Vault Festival. With more than 100 different shows spread across eight incredible venues, you're not going to find anything else like it above or below ground any time soon. A woman runs so fast she bursts in to a million pieces. A man stands at the end of a pier, looking up at the stars. Fable is a show about our childhood dreams and what, here and now, we are left with. Two people meet on the far west coast of Scotland and change each other profoundly. A show about what we believe in, what we stand for and what we can change. A fable wound from spoken word, storytelling and live music. Inspired by a real village in the Scottish Highlands, FABLE is fresh from a run at Summerhall at the Edinburgh Fringe and The Soho Playhouse in New York. The Flanagan Collective are an acclaimed UK theatre company. Their previous work includes Beulah, BABYLON and Some Small Love Story. They are resident company at York Theatre Royal and curators of The Little Festival Of Everything. Show takes place in the Crescent space. Running time is approx 60 minutes.
