Vault Festival 2016: Orator
Enter or surrender
London's biggest arts festival is returning: make your way underground for six weeks of creativity, innovation and chaos at Vault Festival. With more than 100 different shows spread across eight incredible venues, you're not going to find anything else like it above or below ground any time soon. Orator is a dance installation that transcends the audience into the insight of double-dealing power. Exploring the chase to climb up the food chain in a "Hunger Games" style society and the unusual relationship between our ringmaster and their dictator is exposed. An optical piece that is full of provocative visual images, Orator creates a world which makes you question your role in our manipulative society. Audiences are encouraged to roam Orator's lair to experience the chilling underbelly of the beast. Show takes place in the Cavern space. Running time is approximately 55 minutes. The venue entrance is in a graffiti tunnel under Waterloo and can be a bit tricky to find, so give yourself good time to get there.
"Sweetly inventive and brazenly original."
