Vault Festival 2016: The Communist Threat
Immerse yourself into a noir style spy thriller play set in 1950
London's biggest arts festival is returning: make your way underground for six weeks of creativity, innovation and chaos at Vault Festival. With more than 100 different shows spread across eight incredible venues, you're not going to find anything else like it above or below ground any time soon. Whilst on holiday in Vienna, Kip, an idealistic, upper class war hero is thrown together with Albert, a blunt, working class, survivor of a Japanese POW camp. Sat in the squalid basement of The Sacher Hotel, Vienna. The two secret service agents await the go ahead to execute a communist traitor staying in the hotel above them. They presumed his arrival to be imminent, but as time ticks on, both men realise nothing is what it seems… The critically-acclaimed show comes to Vault Festival for three performances only. Don’t miss it. Over 18s only. Valid ID required. Show takes place in the Forge space. Running time is approx 1 hour.
