Summer cinema pop-up with Everyman, Battersea Power Station and Heineken
We're down at Battersea Power Station tonight, seeking vengeance on a mythical shark inside a yellow submarine. We've joined up with Everyman Cinema for a pop-up programme of Thursday screenings, taking place in the open air under the iconic towers. It'll be one of the last times the public will have access to Battersea before redevelopment begins. With refreshments available from Street Feast and Heineken, you'll be kept topped up while watching this quirky Wes Anderson classic on the nine-metre screens (show offs). Plus, headphones mean you'll catch every bit of the awesome dialogue. General admission. Comfy beanbags for all.
"Torn between heartbreak and hilarity, I found myself squirming with conflicted delight, braying like a circus clown on the outside while merrily crying away on the inside."
