Traditional Polish gypsy music
New York Gypsy Festival welcomes Karolina Cicha and Bart Pałyga to the US for their maiden shows on these shores. The pair's traditional music celebrates Podlasie as part of the Many Languages project. The Polish region, where Cicha hails from, is a melting pot of music and tightly interwoven civilizations. The vocalist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist will perform a set of haunting songs that vividly capture Podlasie's rich gypsy heritage.
