Ghosts, live musicians, and an international cast
We can all agree that French people get dancing right (along with cheese, wine, and protests) and Alain Buffard’s Baron Samedi is one of our favorite productions. Named after a Haitian Vaudou spirit, the work features ghosts, sounds off on philosophical issues, and features an international cast. Plus, you can trust it’s worth your time; it debuted to rave reviews at the Théâtre de Nîmes in France back in 2012.
