The Beatles’ collaborators + peers revisit the legendary 1971 benefitIt’s hard to pick out a landmark event when you’re one of the Beatles, but George Harrison’s 1971 Concert For Bangladesh ranked pretty high on the list. The large-scale rock ‘n roll benefit included all-star gigs by Eric Clapton and Bob Dylan. To tribute the shyest Beatle of them all, Wonderous Stories will perform the concert’s hits along with The Soul Survivors (the band whose song once beat the fab four out of the #1 spot), saxist Ron Aprea (who played on John Lennon’s album), and plenty more. Just like the original, it’s all for a good cause: proceeds will go to the cancer society in honor of the legend.
General admission. This event is all ages. Seating in the venue is first come, first served. There is a full dinner menu available for extra cost and a $10 minimum per person for all tables.
