Antebellum
The pre-Civil War era tale gets an experimental makeover
Set in New Orleans around the mid-19th century, Antebellum is a vibrant performance piece based off three real life Southern denizens: a murderous prostitute, a steamboat gambler, and an egomaniacal opera maiden. Don’t be fooled – this is a far cry from your typical period piece. Expect a superbly choreographed play set to an off-the-wall soundscape. But really, they had us at murderous prostitute.
