Are Your Motives Pure? By Raymond Pettibon

Showcasing the LA-based contemporary artist’s famous series

In typical renegade fashion, Raymond Pettibon put his UCLA econ degree to good use: he became an artist, and an excellent one at that. A fixture in the ‘70s punk rock scene, the DIY illustrator was responsible for creating that famous Black Flag logo (his brother was the founder), and now his dizzying range of artwork will be on display on the East Coast. Swing by for the opening reception of his stunning "Surfer Paintings." We hear Kim Gordon’s a fan. General admission. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in "My Tickets," but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
