Adolescence at its most apocalyptic

"Robustly performed."

- New York Magazine
Adolescent anxiety and self-development are harder when you’re Celia, the protagonist of Ashville, in one of five plays in Lucy Thurber’s The Hill Town series. Bogged down by her booze-heavy kin and burnout beau, the 16-year-old finds herself trapped. Will she ever shake her small-town roots? That’s the big sociological question. Malcolm Gladwell fans, take note. Best available seating allocated by the venue on arrival. Please note that this production utilizes herbal cigarettes. Not suitable for younger children.
