BEAT Festival 2015: Opening Night At Brooklyn Museum
Performance art in a grand setting
For one night only, Brooklyn Museum is coming to life. The building's regular exhibits are set to be supplanted by the performing arts. Watch the artists from this year's BEAT Festival strut their stuff in the historic museum and check out new exhibits including "The Rise of Sneaker Culture" and "FAILE: Savage/Sacred Young Minds." All told, it promises to be an action-packed night at the museum. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
“With its many open-air and site-specific events, the festival aims to facilitate discovery, to orchestrate encounters with the unexpected.”
