A blues outfit that has it all: heart, soul and rock ‘n’ rollBrothers Keeper is a bit of a sonic anachronism. The bluesy rock trio has a sound that hearkens back to the great soulful rockers of yesteryear. It could be Michael Jude’s thumping bass rhythms. Or even John Michel’s psychedelic drumming. Our money’s on the combination of old-soul rock with heart, funky baselines and solid lyrics. Whatever it is, one thing’s for sure: they don’t make rock bands like this anymore. Blues Traveler front man and rock-blues pioneer John Popper will lend some sonic support.
