Chimes At Midnight

A rare 35 mm screening of an Orson Welles classic

"This is a magnificent film, clearly among Welles' greatest work..."

- Roger Ebert (on Chimes At Midnight)
Orson Welles co-produced and starred in this masterpiece that draws from five Shakespearean texts, all centered on the reoccurring character, Sir John Falstaff. Movie buffs have praised the flick as one Welles’ greatest films, up to par with Citizen Kane mind you. This rare gem hasn’t been screened in years and you’d be hard pressed to find many copies anywhere in the world. To watch or not to watch? It’s not even a question. General admission.
