When it comes to culinary competitions, indulgence is key. Cochon555, national tour de pork, takes home the gold in this category. Here’s the gist for ya: five all-star chefs are each given a different 200-pound heritage breed pig in order to wow an audience of hungry spectators. Each chef will dish out six courses, which means you get to indulge in a sampling of over 30 dishes all while enjoying unlimited booze from Goose Island Beer Co., Four Roses Bourbon, Jordan Winery, and many more. You’ll also get to take your pick between prosciutto tastings, live butcher demos, and even cocktail tastings. Bring on the pork. General admission. Over 21s only.
