Catch the folkster/activist belt + strum some classics
Dan Bern is back at it offering his brand of cultural commentary while pulling at our heartstrings in one fell swoop. The guitarist and composer, whose prolific output started in the mid-nineties, has been compared to the usual suspects (Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen) and recently doubled as Judd Apatow’s main music man when he composed over a dozen ditties for two of his films, including Get Him To The Greek. Safe to say he’s been keepin’ up with the times. Best available reserved seating. This event is all ages. Please note that there is a $12 food or two-drink minimum per person not included in your ticket price.
"In his deployment of acoustic guitar and harmonica, in his marshaling of intelligence and wit and in his nasal delivery, comparisons with Dylan are inevitable and justified."
