Megastardom hits the suburbs
There’s more than enough about the King of Pop to merit a play or seven, but sometimes it’s the rabid fans that make for more compelling theatre. Set in 1984 rural Florida, a few African-American teenagers band together to create an MJ fan club, but when a white boy attempts to join in on the fun, let’s just say it doesn’t go over so well. This exploration of hero worship and identity is sure to be a nostalgia trip. Be sure to moonwalk over to this stellar production.
