DJ Monk One really hit the jackpot with that moniker. The co-founder of Wax Poetics Magazine is also a musical veteran, having logged in major time with funky throwdowns and long-time residencies. As he puts it himself, he's embarked on a DJ tour of the world, playing everywhere from Bogotá to Barbados, Barcelona to Budapest. Pretty badass.
