An original play based on a true story
Little known fact: when Thomas Edison wasn’t inventing, he kept busy by owning his own motion picture company. One of his films documented the macabre tale of Topsy, the circus elephant who met her tragic demise after a series of unfortunate incidents with abusive trainers. Now Chris Van Strander and David Koteles (whose great grandfather served as Edison Films’ president) are revisiting the story of the gentle giant with a heart of gold.
