A surreal tale based on true events
Playwright Aleks Merilo was working near Colorado City, Utah (aka the largest polygamist community in America) when he stumbled upon inspiration for his thought-provoking play, Exit 27. The story is based on the lives of The Lost Boys, young men who aimlessly wander the roads after being excommunicated by their Mormon Church and families. What makes this performance so special? How little is known about these boys and your sudden empathy for their gripping moral struggle. No doubt, it’s a must-see. General admission. Over 16s only.
"As the overwhelming winner of Sanguine's highly competitive playwriting competition, Exit 27 brings a stirring perspective of raw human nature in its NYC premiere."
