The New Orleans funk maestro keeps the spirit alive
George Porter Jr. is best known for his fantastic work as bassist for the The Meters, the legendary NOLA band who've been bringing the grooves ever since the '60s. When he's not knocking it out of the park at fests like San Francisco’s Outside Lands, he can be caught collaborating with David Byrne and Paul McCartney. Talk about influential. He'll be joined by his band the Runnin' Pardners as well as Naughty Professor.
