Fronted by Eugene Hütz, Gogol Bordello is a gypsy punk band whose humble beginnings date back to Manhattan’s Lower East Side in the late ‘90s. Inspired by the music of the Romani people while traveling throughout Europe as a Ukrainian refugee, Hütz took those sounds and fused them into his own hyper-explosive punk-cabaret ballads.
