Approaching his '90s now, the Hungarian composer’s famed for his high intensity performances that last anywhere from 30 seconds to three minutes. Blink, and you could miss them. Having been trained as a classical composer early on, Kurtág’s been on a journey to musical mastery through Berlin and Paris. Now he’ll take the stage with the critically acclaimed Miranda Cuckson (violin and viola), The Daedalus Quartet, Charles Neidich (clarinet), and Aaron Wunsch (piano). General admission.
