HBO Bryant Park Summer Film Festival: Back To The Future
Time travel with Marty McFly
New York's most popular outdoor film screening series is back with more panache than ever. Entering its 23rd year, Bryant Park has been the premiere destination for film buffs on summer nights. It doesn't get more magical than watching those classic flicks under the stars in the middle of Midtown. In partnership with Bank of America, tonight's screening features the ‘80s classic, Back To The Future. Marty McFly (Michael J. Fox) teams up with a mad scientist (Christopher Lloyd) who has invented a time machine out of a DeLorean. If you're gonna travel in time, why not do it in style? McFly is tasked with making sure his teenage parents-to-be meet and fall in love so he can make it back to the future in time. Just trust the nutty doctor and all will turn out alright. "To put it bluntly: if you don't like Back To The Future, it's difficult to believe that you like films at all." – Empire "Welcome back to the art of storytelling! Back to the Future is a whirling merry-go-round of a movie, in which everything is precisely machined but nothing seems quite safe." – The Washington Post Rating: PG. Runtime: 1 hour 56 minutes. Seating is available from 5pm. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. You need to be registered to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won’t charge you anything.
