Jazz + Colors
Thirty jazz bands take to Central Park for an afternoon of music
Autumn is nothing without music and colors. To stay true to that tradition and eliminate the velvet rope, Central Park will be peppered with little music scenes in honor of the second annual fest of Jazz and Colors. Thirty bands will reinvent one setlist (with songs by Thelonious Monk, Miles Davis, and many others) as you stroll from Midtown to Harlem…so you might wanna leave those headphones at home come Saturday afternoon. General admission. This event is free, but entry is guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in "My Tickets," but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny."Creating an atmosphere of festive and serendipitous discovery and making jazz accessible in every sense of the word."
