The Cuban singer pays tribute to the country's greatestIf you're from town, you'll know the name by now. Jose "Pepito" Gomez is best known for performing the songs of celebrated Cuban group Buena Vista Social Club in the underground music halls of Manhattan. The Floridian got his start in small bands while touring throughout the state but it wasn't until he joined Habana Ensemble that Gomez saw his big break. He went on to found the group Los Que Son Son with Cuba's most important musician César "Pupy" Pedroso and has since had the privilege of sharing the sounds of his beloved country worldwide. It's about to get very spicy in here tonight.
