No stranger to war-torn areas, war photographer Elizabeth Gilbert first cut her teeth by covering the Rwandan genocide and Somalian Civil War in the ‘90s. One Kickstarter project later, she rallied up a camera crew and took to the African safari to document the last traces of a dwindling tribal culture. The result? A beautiful and vibrant film about a rapidly changing community. Gilbert will join director Matt Goldman in a post-screening discussion.
