The tale of the 1960s suburban chimpanzeeHow’s this for testing out nature versus nurture? A psychologist and his wife adopt a chimpanzee at two days old to see if they can make her more human. This, of course, is the true story of Lucy the chimp who quickly absorbed sign language and took a liking to drinking gin and leafing through Playgirl with the help of her language tutor, parents, and caretaker. Lindsey Hope Pearlman will be director, actor, writer, puppeteer, and clown to recreate this 1960s story in all its manic glory.
Pro-tip: drinks can be taken into the theater so you can enjoy your favorite cocktails before, during, and after the show. Sweet deal.
