Distinctive post-rock from the Japanese legends
Tokyo band Mono might not be a household name yet, but they’ve been shredding their electric guitars and tapping away at the glockenspiel (kinda like a metal German xylophone) since 1999. The four-piece are a productive bunch, having released six studio albums full of reverb and artsy distortion. Drawing from classical composers and metal bands alike, you can be sure you’ll get a thoughtful global sound with these guys, but before that, the dance-oriented beats of Majeure will warm you up. General admission. This event is all ages.
"Mono has always been more interested in illuminating subtle emotional states, the kind that aren’t easy to put into words… It might blow your mind."
