Fresh new comeback tunes from indie-rock guitarist
Albert Hammond Jr.’s made a name for himself shreddin’ guitar for The Strokes, but he’s also had his eyes set on a budding solo career. After a five-year hiatus, his latest EP release, AHJ, is a reinvigorated breakthrough for his career. Recovering from a serious drug addiction, his new work reflects a gritty raw energy that’s reminiscent of early tracks from The Strokes. Bonus points for the night kicking off with indie-rock jams from the Drowners. Get stoked. General admission. Please note that these tickets may appear either slightly above or below face value. Your tickets will be emailed to you after purchase and you will need to print them before you arrive.
"This rebirth comes in the form of an album, his clean slate temperament palpable on a five-song comeback EP simply titled AHJ. Sobriety suits Hammond Jr. well, as these are easily some of his strongest songs to date."
