When rural life goes wrong

In rural Appalachia, a tight-knit black community get by as best they can. Mary and her son Dipper lead a simple trailer life, with their nearest neighbors several miles away. When a prize-winning bull is slaughtered however Mary’s quiet existence is turned upside down. Keith Josef Adkins’ quirky play deftly examines isolated pockets of American life.
