"A vibrant center of cultural and political life, the city’s most famous, lion-bookended research library."

- New York Magazine (on The New York Public Library)
Leaving no playing card unturned, NYPL is putting on our favorite sort of exhibition (equal parts educational and interactive) that’ll school you in the history of prints and photographs. Think collectible mementos, stereo views, a kite, paper dolls, visual word games, and yes, playing cards. Throw in works by artists like Marcel Duchamp and Eadweard Muybridge, and you’re in for a pretty cool afternoon. General admission. This event runs from 10am-7:30pm, so you can show up at your leisure. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can’t be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in "My Tickets," but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny. General admission.
