Canadian electropop pioneers
Montreal's fertile electronic pop scene has been growing over the past four years, and Blue Hawaii are on the forefront of the movement. Their first EP, inspired by their travels in Central America, was followed with chilly, introspective music with hints of self-awareness and delicacy. Despite living apart and working on side projects, the two have come together to record and release their 2013 album, Untogether. Berlin-based three-piece Ballet School and composer Lydia Ainsworth to round up the night.
