The New Orleans virtuosos take over Brooklyn
The Preservation Hall Jazz Band is a group of brilliant musical pioneers who’ve made it their life’s mission to honor the culture and musical tradition of New Orleans. You can still find 'em on the streets of NOLA performing for passersby or on a whirlwind tour where they’re blowing audiences away at festivals like Bonnaroo. Despite having just celebrated their 50th anniversary, the maestros still lend their chops to the likes of Mos Def and the Black Keys. Not too shabby, eh? General admission. Over 21s only. General admission. Over 21s only.
"The members of the original 1963 Preservation Hall Jazz Band traced their roots directly to individuals who invented that art. With rolling personnel changes over the course of four decades, the Preservation Hall Jazz Band stays the course."
