A tale of biblical proportions
The magi, often referred to as the three wise men, were a group of distinguished gentlemen who endured a pretty rough journey to bring gifts for Joseph and Mary’s newborn. Why such a fuss for a baby? Well, that’s another story, but playwright Janet Hopf has come up with her own rendition featuring some off-Broadway dazzle. The production follows Jesus’ upbringing, but in a sudden plot twist, when twenty-something year old Jesus finds himself in a crunch, it’s the magi back to the rescue. The play’s a funny take on a well-known story that’ll be a hit with the family.
