Gritty crime drama straight outta the fiftiesWe love an open-air movie screening, and this one's totally free. Double awesome. Head down to Valentino Pier where Red Hook Flicks are showing On The Waterfront. This famous American crime drama from the '50s follows the story of a dim-witted ex-boxer, challenged to stand up to the mobsters who control the longshoremen's union. There'll be food on site for you to chow down on and a really cool atmosphere to enjoy the movie in.
This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. We need your card details to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny. In case of rain, Home/Made will be showing the movie at their event space Atelier Roquette, located at 63 Commerce Street, between Van Brunt and Richards.
