R+J: Star-Cross'd Death Match
Flip cup the way the Bard intended
Leave it to a company called Three Day Hangover to come up with an interactive (read: intoxicated) take on Shakespeare’s classic tale. Quinn’s Irish Pub will play fair Verona as the troupe enacts the fiery and forbidden story, with a few games of flip cup and tankards of ale thrown in the mix. While they’ll take care of the title roles, you’ll dance, compete, and participate in all kinds of drunken tomfoolery. So pick a side and play up that rivalry. You in the Montague or Capulet frat? General admission. Over 21s only.
"An inventive production of Shakespeare's play that arguably is closer to the experience that the Bard's contemporary audiences had - rowdy, bawdy, fun."
