Two Brooklyn bands with fresh folk soul
The buzz around the band, Streets Of Laredo, has scored them an October residency at the swanky Ace Hotel. Not too shabby for the Brooklyn quartet whose Alabama Shakes-type tunes are worth the hype. These New Zealand transplants wear their hearts on their sleeves, and we can’t deny how infectious their harmonious lovesick howls can be. This week they’ve also enlisted fellow folksters, Wild Leaves, whose stripped-down lullabies hit the spot. Swoon. General admission. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis. We need your card details to store the event information in "My Tickets," but rest assured, we won't charge you a penny.
"If you’re looking for something a little bit country and a little bit rock’n’roll (sorry Donny and Marie) you’ve come to the right band."
