SyFy Movies With A View: Friday
Watch Friday on a Thursday
Since launching in 2000, Brooklyn Bridge Park has been the perfect setting for Syfy Movies With A View. What view, you may ask? The sprawling Manhattan skyline just across the river that is. What with a perfect breeze from the East River, over 340,000 moviegoers, and the breathtaking skyline, Thursday nights have become a favorite among New Yorkers for all the right reasons. Tonight get ready for classic '90s comedy, Friday. Ice Cube and Chris Tucker still raises a laugh 20 years on as the hapless duo on a mission to square up their dealer before nightfall. DJ Still Life and a screening of short film Tiger Hood will get the night started before Friday supplies a shot of humor to light up your Thursday. "Dirty, offensive, infantile and may launch a few sanctimonious opinion columns. And I mean that in the nicest way." – Washington Post "This is a ruder, cruder version of the hip-hop movie House Party, and it offers a fascinating glimpse at the way street life enters pop culture." – Entertainment Weekly Rating: R. Runtime: 1 hour 32 minutes. DJs start at 6pm and movie starts at sundown. This event is free and entry is on a first come first served basis, so it can't be guaranteed. You need to be registered to store the event information in your profile, but rest assured, we won’t charge you a penny.
